Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Centre Manager

Role Purpose: To co-ordinate and deliver all aspects of marketing at the centre.

Key Responsibilities

¾ Assist the Marketing Agency and Centre Manager to deliver the Centre marketing strategy.

¾ Deliver internal communication of marketing activities to tenant partners, external suppliers, agencies, and other stakeholders.

¾ Deal with external communication and marketing enquiries.

¾ Deal with the execution and management of the centre’s brand strategy.

¾ Liaison with external marketing consultants, attending regular meetings and developing partnerships.

¾ Close liaison with Tenant partners to garner sales information and performance metrics and report on same

¾ Support on day to day management, reporting and analysis of all web based and viral marketing as well as social media platforms.

¾ Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the business.

¾ To be the retailer’s first point of contact forging strong relationships with all occupiers, building up a network of contacts in store and at head office level

¾ Create an effective, engaging and efficient communication programme to include quarterly retailer briefings, handbook, intranet and regular updates through newsletters

¾ Collate specific and meaningful anecdotal information on retailer performance to help establish the sustainability of individual retailers and category groups, aligning findings to the turnover reports

Fully engage and increase sales of retailers specifically those on turnover clauses and new arrivals

¾ Assist on the delivery of innovative marketing campaigns and bespoke initiatives to create customer loyalty and maximise dwell time, spend and visitor footfall.

¾ Assist in community awareness and understand corporate social responsibilities.

¾ Coordinate and facilitate promotional events and entertainment activities within the Centre.

¾ Reporting and analysis of event activity

¾ Coordination of commercial income generation activities working with promotions agencies, brand partners etc. and reporting on performance of same

¾ Assist the Centre and its tenant partners with on-site promotion activities.

¾ Coordinating monthly marketing reports for all key stakeholders.

¾ To analyse and report on national, regional and local data (PFM, Springboard, ONS and BRC)

¾ Effectively manage the footfall contract, relationship and reporting suite in line with business reporting requirements with the service provider

¾ Undertaking any other ad-hoc marketing activities.

¾ To provide and effectively work with the leasing team in order to support new lettings and facilitate unit inspections where required.

¾ Understand the changing landscape of shopping centres and retail, identifying emerging brands and trends

¾ Engage with managers and area manager to drive improvements in store including; stock package, fit out, trading hours, demise, training, cleanliness, maintenance, signage etc.

¾ Support Centre Manager in the collation of retailer turnover certificates and performance forecasting

¾ To support the Duty Manager function as a senior member of the management team, ensuring all emergency procedures are adhered to

¾ Any other duties as directed by your Manager.

¾ To ensure compliance with CBREMS standard policies and procedures.

Person Specification/Requirements

¾ Experience of creating and implementing visitor attracting events programmes

¾ Report production and presentation skills

¾ Experience of shopping centre or retail environment

¾ PR / Media training (desirable)

¾ Website / digital media management

¾ Creative ability

¾ At least two years marketing management experience including experience in social, data and digital management (desirable)

¾ Educated to A level standard or equivalent with GCSE “A to C” grade in Mathematics and English

¾ IT Literate – and in particular, to an intermediate level in Excel and PowerPoint

¾ Budget setting and management experience
