About The Role

HomeServe is looking to recruit a Marketing Communications Manager to join our grow Marketing Communications team.


The team are working in a hybrid way, majority working from home with travel in to our Walsall office when required.


The salary is up to £35,000 + 7% bonus, 25 days holidays, 6% matched pension & HomeServe Policy


As a Marketing Communications Manager you will be responsible for the cross functional delivery of compelling marketing campaigns for our Customers and Partners. Working with key stakeholders around the business you will drive critical Customer and Company outcomes, always prioritising value and maintaining pace in delivery.


With a passion for brilliant execution you will use your experience of campaign delivery to make a step change improvement in our existing capability. Working with other Marketing Communications managers and the broader team you will collectively deliver first class campaigns across our categories , supporting our Customer needs and growth ambition.


  • Responsibility for end to end campaign delivery, taking the Category brief and managing creative executions which are fit for purpose, on brief, reflect customer insight, are fully FCA compliant and achieve required commercial targets across all marketing channels.

  • Build relationships across the Marketing Communications teams leveraging the skill sets from each of the centres of excellence, incorporating Content and Channel Management, , Data Science and Data Optimisation to deliver brilliantly executed campaigns.

  • Manage suppliers to ensure the production management process is followed, including the monitoring of supplier MI.

  • Ensure that all data is processed in strict accordance with the Data Protection Act, HomeServe Information Security Policies and all other regulatory authorities

  • Provide status updates on campaign progress, escalating risks to the budget or forecast marketing plan to key stakeholders.

  • Support quality checking for all customer communications, ensuring all key approval and compliance processes are adhered to.

  • Identification of risks, adherence to risk processes and controls, coordinating remedial activity and mitigation as required.




About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following knowledge, skills and attributes:

Essential:

  • A track-record of executing through the line strategic marketing briefs , ensuring brilliant execution of customer first assets in all channels

  • Stakeholder Management skills with an ability to drive and influence and challenge traditional ways of thinking

  • Organisational skills in order to effectively schedule diverse workloads

  • Meticulous attention to detail & accuracy

  • Print and production knowledge and experience

  • Excellent written & verbal communication, and influencing skills

Desirable:


  • An understanding of the regulatory requirements (both FCA and broader including ASA) in the context of General Insurance marketing activity and customer communications including digital

  • Good understanding of print and production processes and techniques (litho and digital), and a working knowledge of Whistl and Royal Mail processes

  • Data management processes

  • Experience of working in financial services or similarly regulated industry

  • People management or supervision experience
