Our housebuilding business operates across 13 regional offices, which are currently developing around 200 sites across England. The design and construction blend tradition and innovation, creating homes and developments with contemporary living standards. Our product range includes one-bedroom apartments through to larger five-bedroom family homes.

In a Nutshell:

We have an exciting opportunity for Marketing Assistant to join our team within Vistry Housebuilding West Midlands, at our Coleshill office. As our Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to the Regional Marketing Manager to deliver multi-channel marketing communications to promote the brand and drive enquiries at the region’s developments in line with the marketing plan and regional budget. Brief and deliver multi-channel marketing communications that adhere to corporate guidelines. Monitor and evaluate sales and marketing metrics in order to support marketing and budgetary decision making.

What we would like from you:

Key Responsibilities –
  • Co-ordinating the production of development brochures ensuring accurate content and timely delivery in line with the strategic sales.
  • Working with the technical and commercial team to write the brief for the in-house Graphic Design team.
  • Ensuring all sales centres have correct and up to date sales information and appropriate supply levels of physical collateral.
  • Assist with the production of sales centre marketing materials by working with third-party suppliers.
  • Deliver a programme of email campaigns using the company eCRM system.
  • Deliver a programme of SMS campaigns using company CRM system.
  • Collate content (as well as identifying opportunities) and maintain regional social media calendar.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in delivering PR opportunities.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the organisation and promotion of regional events and attend to provide support to the sales team as necessary.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the monitoring and maintenance of information accuracy on the Company website and other external property portals - being mindful of SEO implications.
  • Integrate digital marketing initiatives within development marketing plans and regional campaigns to support quality sales lead acquisition against agreed KPIs.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the reviewing and maintenance of PPC activity.
  • Development of Internal communications including presentation assets, company information displays and update emails.
  • Contribution to company Intranet by sourcing and sharing regional stories throughout the business.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the creation of campaign reporting, monitoring digital effectiveness
  • including Open rates, CTR & CPL from agency supplied reporting and Google Analytics.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of each email campaign in terms of response rates and cost per
  • acquisition/call.
  • Maintain an awareness and catalogue of competitor marketing activity sharing with the sales team as appropriate.
  • Assist where appropriate with the preparation of weekly sales reports, traffic and visitor figures and any other administrative tasks to assist the department as when required.
  • Utilise the company finance system to process and monitor marketing spend.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly department & quarterly group meetings as required.
  • Ensure you have read the Company’s health and safety policies and procedures and observe them at all times.
  • Reporting any accidents or near misses immediately to your Manager and record them in the accident book.
  • Ensure your workplace is kept tidy and any hazards are eliminated or reported to your line manager.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing on site at all times. • Attend all health and safety training as required by the Company.
Competencies –
  • 5 GCSEs / GCE including Mathematics and English (at C grade or above). • A Levels in any discipline. • Degree, or equivalent, in Marketing.
  • Previous experience as a Marketing Assistant, or at least 1 years’ experience working within a marketing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to influence to ‘sell’ your ideas.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Driven, motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Good decision making/problem solving/multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and accept constructive criticism of work.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Willing to be flexible in respect of day to day duties and hours worked.
  • Full driving licence.
Desirable:
  • Working towards or completed Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification.
  • Experience of working in a sales / customer service / public relations environment. • Marketing metrics analysis experience.
  • Experience of using a CMS.
  • Experience of using a CRM system for both database analysis and outbound communications.
  • Knowledge of eCRM segmentation & best practice.
  • Google Analytics.
  • Adobe Photoshop
