Orb are excited to be working with a leading manufacturer of Building Products who are based in Doncaster. They are looking for a new Marketing Assistant to help support their growth and implementation of their marketing strategy to achieve agreed targets and key performance indicators. Areas of Responsibility
  • Assist in drafting engaging content for social media platforms and maintain this content on an editable social media calendar.
  • Manage our company CMS (Drupal), working with Developers where necessary to ensure it meets the needs of the organisation.
  • Conduct content audits to identify gaps and redundant site content.
  • Increase the number of followers, ‘likes’ and audiences for our digital marketing and social media outputs.
  • Monitor, report and analyse results to improve performance, using tools such as Google analytics.
  • Assist with planning and attending various events.
  • Create, write, design, and distribute the monthly in-house newsletter.
  • Plan and create new design ideas for marketing materials.
  • Produce marketing collateral as required by the sales teams either in-house or working with agencies
  • Be a brand champion, ensuring consistent and appropriate use of visual identity on all internal and external communication materials.
  • Ordering of literature, point of sale, and promotional merchandise.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as required. Skills Required
  • Degree in Marketing, business or equivalent/ Or experience in industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good Organisational skills
  • Good Eye for detail
  • Creative flair to create engaging visuals
  • Proficiency across social media platforms
  • Microsoft, excel etc experience
  • Able to work on own or as part of a team and take responsibility for tasks
