An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing assistant to join our team in Glasgow.
As a Marketing Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting the team to deliver the marketing strategy for the Scot JCB Group.
We are looking for a confident, outgoing individual who will be able to thrive as part of a small but busy team.
Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Who are we?
The Scot JCB Group is made up of Scot JCB, Scot Agri, SPS and SIA.
Scot JCB has been supplying and servicing JCB machinery throughout Scotland and the North of England for over 60 years. We sold our first machine in 1956 and have grown into a highly specialised machinery distribution company operating through a network of 17 depots from Fraserburgh in the Northeast of Scotland to Carnforth in Lancashire. Scot JCB is the largest JCB distributor in the UK and we pride ourselves on providing our customers with world class service.
Key role responsibilities include:
- Being the first point of contact for marketing queries
- Content creation for Scot JCB Group social media accounts and websites
- Maintenance of the CRM system
- Supporting offsite events
- Ensuring all corporate branding is adhered to
- Liaising with third party agencies on design work and campaigns
- Assisting with the production and tracking of all uniform and merchandise
- Supporting the Marketing Manager to deliver the marketing strategy for Scot JCB Group
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience or an interest in construction and/or agriculture
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
- The capacity to get on with different types of people in a busy environment
- Good working knowledge on Microsoft applications
- Experience using Canva, Mailchimp (or similar), Social Media, and CRM systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work under your own initiative
- A flexible, positive, and creative approach to work
- Relevant degree or experience in marketing
