Overview:
The Role

This is a fixed-term contract for 3 months working part-time, 22.5 hours per week.

We are looking for an interim Marketing and Events Assistant to support the Marketing Manager- HCP and Softer Foods with a variety of marketing and events administration and planning.

This 3 month position has been created to support the Wiltshire Farm Foods marketing team with their busy event and exhibition programme for the remainder of 2021 and will be key to ensuring the success of these events.

The exhibition programme aims to promote our key values, exceptional service and nutritious and delicious food to Healthcare Professionals who work to ensure independence to potentially vulnerable and elderly people in their homes.
The role involves working on the pre-event preparation as well as travel to various locations in the UK to help manage our presence at events that are key in promoting the brand.

Along with supporting the events and exhibition programme, this individual will be key in delivering on essential administrative marketing tasks that will help keep the WFF machine moving.

We’re looking for a proactive individual with great attention to detail and meticulous planning skills who can also be a great customer facing representative of the Wiltshire Farm Foods at events. You will be an organised person, have good attention to detail, administrative flair, and show a demonstrable interest in marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager – HCP & Softer Foods with the event & exhibition programme and administrative marketing tasks.
  • Pre event management including planning and arranging food management, liaising with stand build agency, ordering supplies and materials, booking cars and hotels, preparing data capture forms.
  • Upkeep and management of the stand during the shows- including cooking and serving food samples to delegates, maintaining a clean and tidy environment on stand, stock management of marketing materials, engaging with delegates.
  • Post event including analysis of the show, following up leads, packing away stock and equipment in warehouse.
  • Planning and execution of our university Dysphagia Awareness training programme for university students throughout the UK. Including liaising with universities, sending invitations preparing equipment, food and support for the events.
  • Assist on general marketing tasks
Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Self starter with a positive attitude
  • Organised with exceptional time management and planning skills
  • Good team player
  • Confident communicator
  • Able to work both indepently and as part of a wider team
Must hold a UK driving licence
Must be willing to travel within the UK to attend events
