Overview:
The Role and Team
The Veg Intake department is keen to promote excellent team work by employing people who have a positive (can do) attitude. By achieving this, the department is in the best position to supply the meals and sweets department in an efficient manner. We aim to not only achieve our targets but improve on them as well.

This is a fixed-term contract for 9 months working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06.00 - 14.00.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble supplies for the meals and sweets department in the correct quantities
  • Fill out the sheets with the correct weights and batch codes and scan materials
  • Send products over the belt
  • Ensure that all stock is used in the correct order

This role involves manual handling of bags up to 25kg. You will also be required to work in other areas of the Low Risk department where required.


Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene or prepared to study for the qualification
  • A good level of English - written and spoken
  • A good level of Maths
  • Experience in SAP and scanning is not essential, but will be deemed a bonus during the interview

Personal Qualities:

  • Have a positive attitude; will have to learn other tasks in the Prep Department if required
  • Promote good team work – help others. “It’s not my job” does not promote good team work
  • Have a desire to help the team meet the department targets
  • Undertake any training made available/organised
