We’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated marketer to join our marketing team in East Scotland. As Marketing and Communications Assistant, you’ll have a passion for marketing and work across a range of media including print, traditional, out of home, digital, social media and branding.

The role will be based at the company’s headquarters in Dunfermline with some remote working at this time and reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager.

Working within a fast paced and exciting department, the ideal candidate will be a positive self-starter, pro-active, motivated and with a minimum of one year’s experience within a varied marketing role. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager and Commercial Director to execute tactical marketing plans for branding, campaign planning and to support internal and external communication functions.

Main Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns at local and national level
  • Working closely with all internal colleagues and stakeholders
  • Tailoring content for use across a range of media and communications channels
  • Reporting and analysing marketing data and keeping up with current marketing trends
  • Providing all marketing administration related information to enable an effective marketing strategy

Essential:

  • Educated to HND or degree level, CIM equivalent within Marketing or Communications discipline or equivalent experience.
  • At least one years’ experience within a multi-disciplined marketing role
  • Experience using content management systems, Google Analytics, social media and e-marketing platforms, survey management
  • Confident, outgoing and with excellent communication skills
  • Creative and an eye for detail
  • High standard of written English
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • High standard of personal presentation

Ideal:

  • Interest in Environment, Sustainability and Public Transport
  • Experience with design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
