Job Description

Our client is a successful and reputable trade association who offers memberships to both individuals and businesses. Due to team expansion, they are looking to acquire the services of a Marketing & Communication Co-Ordinator to join the team on a full-time basis, based in their Banbury office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established trade association and be part of a progressive team. In this role you will be supporting the General Manager and will be responsible for creating the marketing strategies and plans. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working within a marketing or communications role and will have good knowledge of InDesign & Photoshoot software.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Devise and deliver the Marketing and Communication campaigns and strategies.
  • Writing, compiling and editing articles for the trade association magazine.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders, members, suppliers and customers.
  • Analyse, monitor and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, and propose improvement plans.
  • Creating and developing advertising opportunities through specialist publications.
  • Write and create content for social media, website, magazine, newsletter and press releases.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Ownership of all published content, including proofreading and copywriting.
  • Lead the production of marketing materials, including magazines, advertisements, leaflets, posters, banners.
  • Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing and marcoms materials for exhibitions and events.
  • Promoting sponsorship opportunities.
  • Carrying out market research and customer surveys/polls.
  • Supporting the Director, staff and members.

Key skills & experience:

  • 3 years experience in a Marketing or Communications role.
  • Proven experience in confidently assisting/managing successful marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • A qualification/degree in Marketing. (Desirable)
  • Naturally creative with a strong attention to detail.
  • A people person & a team player.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to disseminate complex technical information.
  • Experience using Indesign & Photoshop software.

Additional information:

  • Working Hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday, Friday 9:00 am – 2:00 am,

(35 hours) 30 minute lunch break.
