Job purpose:To drive forward development and implementation of the market
access, pricing, reimbursement and external affairs strategy for LEO Pharma
UK/IE.

To motivate and lead a team responsible for the development of coordinated
strategies and tactics that deliver payer oriented value for LEO brands,
ensuring access, funding and uptake for current strategic and future LEO
products and services across the lifecycle.

In short, to ensure freedom to enter and operate in the UK & Irish healthcare
markets to sell products and services by ensuring market access support is in
place across the product lifecycle to enable commercial success for all the
strategic and future products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Market Access and External Affairs division by providing
strategic and operational leadership to achieve timely patient access for
the portfolio of innovative LEO products in the UK and Ireland.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the evolving access
environment at a national, regional, devolved nations and Irish level and
translating that into impactful market access strategies for LEO
products.
  • Setting the strategic direction for access for LEO Pharma UK/IE and
aligning with Global colleagues were relevant.
  • Recruitment, development and retention of key talent with the Market
Access and External Affairs division.
  • Member of the UK/IE leadership team
  • Responsible for the ‘External Affairs’ function within LEO Pharma UK/IE
via line management of the External Affairs Manager to develop and
implement on External Affairs strategy.

  • Responsible for the ‘Communications’ function within LEO Pharma UK/IE
via line management of the Communications and Patient Engagement
Managers to develop and implement on the Communications strategy.

Professional Competencies:

  • Background of working the in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Proven success in creating and executing Market Access/Payer

Strategies in the UK.

  • Experience of developing HTA submissions to deliver positive HTA

decisions for products

  • Experience of engaging/working with Industry groups e.g. ABPI, IPHA,

EMIG

  • Experience of managing teams
  • ABPI qualified
