Manufacturing Supervisor-Bury St Edmunds-£35-40k

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor on behalf of our Bury St Edmunds based client! This is a great role with a global company that offer an amazing benefits package!

Salary: £35-40k

Hours: Monday-Friday (37.5 hours)

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, early finish on Friday, subsidised catering on site, healthcare cover

Job responsibilities:
  • To manage the day to day schedule of a large team within a manufacturing environment
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify areas in which efficiency can be improved
  • Maintain and adhere to specific H&S standards
  • Oversee training, mentoring and discipline of staff
  • Work alongside team leaders and the Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department
What are we looking for?
  • Previous leadership experience within a Manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively to address problems and provide solutions
  • A detailed understanding of Health and Safety procedures
  • Great people management skills
