This is a critical role taking responsibility across Manufacturing to lead on all Non-Productive (Facilities, Services & Utilities) Maintenance, supporting Operational Availability Performance, Legal Compliance and Cost Assurance throughout all 17 Manufacturing Facilities. Based in Bradford however extensive travel to our Manufacturing Sites across the UK is required.


Reporting into the Senior Manufacturing Manager - Engineering you will be responsible for:


  • Leadership of the manufacturing group strategy for utilities, facilities & welfare asset management, ensuring operations are fully supported to meet their goals with fully maintained, compliant & reliable assets & facilities.

  • Developing standards and driving compliance throughout the manufacturing group ensuring site management teams have the guidance, processes and ways of working required on our non-productive assets to keep our colleagues safe whilst carrying out their duties.

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the non-productive asset maintenance budget (c£10m OPEX). inclusive of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM’s), remote monitoring & reactive maintenance / support.

  • You will build great relationships between Manufacturing and key partners / suppliers, ensuring best commercial terms, strong service delivery and utilisation of technology for innovative maintenance techniques.

  • You will drive engagement, collaboration & ownership with central function leadership teams to achieve step-change improvement in non-productive engineering maintenance and performance.

  • Build & leverage professional relationships with each of the site management teams to drive facilities maintenance improvement objectives and step change outcomes, supporting local ownership of the day-to-day processes.

  • You will actively coach, develop & drive performance within Engineering Management Teams with respect to Facilities Management
