Our Community Champions are the gateway from our Manufacturing sites into their local communities. They work really hard to build relationships with local residents and charities ensuring we have a positive presence in the local area. This could include:
  • Engaging with local community groups to plan visits, tours and events
  • Planning fundraising events for local charities and CLIC Sargent
  • Getting colleagues on board to help with events etc
  • Being an active rep for your colleagues within the site
  • Celebrating success by sharing updates on social media, team talk, internal Forums and site community boards
  • Building relationships with other community champions at sites and stores in the area
  • Track expenditure on community activities

About You
The good news is you don’t need to have lots (or any) experience to apply for this role. (It might even be your first job!) We’ll give you full training and support.

But we do look for:
  • Someone who is great at building relationships and has the confidence when meeting new people
  • Someone who has personal presence on Social Media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Someone who has a creative and innovative mind
  • Someone who can you work at pace and isn’t afraid of a little hard work
  • Someone who loves to work as part of a team and can get people bought into their ideas
