We are looking for a new colleague in the Engineering team at our location in Peterlee.

Your tasks as Manufacturing Engineer / SMT (m/f/d):

Working in a cross functional manufacturing engineering team, leading projects by managing your own and others time and supporting production and maintenance when and where required
Selection & implementation of new equipment and processes sourced in the UK and internationally
Ownership of various types of equipment and processes, providing continuous monitoring and improvements where necessary
Working in a fast paced, high demanding environment working with other teams internally and externally in new product design and launch
Support of new product introduction and design for manufacture and assembly

Your profile as Manufacturing Engineer / SMT (m/f/d):

HND Minimum in an engineering discipline, preferably bias to electronic and/or mechanical
First experience in a similar job role, preferably in automotive
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high data analysis skills (Excel, Minitab...)
Willingness to learn and interest in new technologies / software applications
