We are growing our Business Wargaming capability and are looking for talented people with the right expertise, leadership experience and business development track record.

As a Managing Consultant at PA, you will be given the opportunity to help develop and take our world-class expertise in disciplines such as strategic systems thinking, business wargaming, scenario planning and analysis to help our clients address the challenges that keep them awake at night and in so doing enhance their planning and decision-making capabilities. You will have the opportunity to lead on diverse projects across different industries including Health and Life Sciences, Consumer and Manufacturing, Public Services, Energy and Utilities and Financial Services, offering a rare opportunity to build unrivalled expertise and experience.

Skills

We are looking for candidates with skills and experience in developing and leading work in two or more of the following areas

• Good knowledge and keen interest in one, or more, front-of-mind cross-sector topical areas of challenge for our times (examples include, but are not limited to, environmental, economic and social, political, health & Life sciences, security, geopolitical, legal, etc…)
• Strategic systems thinking and complex problem solving
• Experience in business wargaming/simulation exercises
• Experience in scenario planning and analysis
• Experience in a management consultancy environment
• Social Sciences and /or Business Studies background
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate

• Excellent business development, self-starter skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset; you should already have ideas/concepts for growing the innovative Business Wargaming proposition to meet client planning and decision support needs and be keen to build on PA’s reputation and resources to deliver.
• Strong commercial acumen and management experience. You should be able to manage P&L’s and costs for complex projects
• A drive for personal and professional progression
• Excellent interpersonal and team working skills in multi-cultural environments

Qualifications

Degree educated, or qualified by experience, in a relevant subject area.
