Reporting to the Head of Operations and Supply Chain for CA EIMEA this role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely execution of the end-to-end order to delivery processes for CA EIMEA.

Management responsibility for Materials and Finished Goods Planning, Warehousing and Distribution (7 Employees) and indirect management of customer support team (1 leader, 9 CS representatives).

Provide the planning framework for all CA EIMEA plants, suppliers (internal and external) in accordance with H.B. Fuller best practice

Key contributor in the design, testing and implementation of H.B. Fuller SAP system for CA EIMEA (scheduled for Q4 2023)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic

  • Work with the CA EIMEA Leadership and CA NA Supply Chain Team develop a strategic plan designed to ensure that the operations and supply chain team effectively and efficiently support the immediate and long-term goals of CA EIMEA
  • Implement best practice SIOP processes at CA EIMEA in accordance with H.B. Fuller global systems. This would include Demand Planning and Supply Planning for the region.
  • Play a leading role in the implementation of a new ERP system (SAP, scheduled for October 2023)
  • Implement Global HBF Supply Chain Metrics for EIMEA region
  • Leverage the warehousing network along with the transportation management system (TMS) to serve HB Fuller customers with an optimized cost structure

SIOP Process

  • Collect Demand information (Demand Planning) from various sources including sales and marketing. Highlight supply chain constraints (Supply Planning) and devise solutions
  • Provide the lead in CA EIMEA for the future monthly SIOP process

Materials Planning

  • Develop and manage the team of asset planners/finished goods planners/Buyers to provide desired levels of service and inventory targets
  • Work with global sourcing team to manage the supplier base including toll manufacturing and traded goods
  • Work with other divisions to ensure sourcing plants work to defined lead times
  • Implement a common system of master data management

Inventory

  • Accountable for Regional Inventory for CA GBU
  • Identify and correct 3PL cost or service variances
  • Ensure all locations including 3PL work in accordance with best practice safety standards

Customer Service

  • Liaise with regional customer service manager to manage the order to cash, sales and customer liaison and account management process
  • Record, communicate and improve customer service KPI’s
  • Establish strong collaboration with the customer support team across multiple locations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • In depth working knowledge of Supply Chain Processes.
  • Economics, Engineering, Business, or similar Degree,
  • Basic Technical Process Knowledge, either gained through a technical basic degree, external training, or a minimum of 12 months on the job training in a technical function in the chemical industry
  • Basic Chemical Knowledge preferred especially petrochemicals. Either gained by several month on the job training, or external chemical degree
  • Fluent in English + a second European (preferable) language.
  • Fully conversant SAP SC related transactions & reporting functions.
  • Demonstrable abilities in change & project management, & teamwork
  • Good communication skills within all levels of the organisation.
  • Able to withstand pressure.
  • Excellent organization & time management skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of a project & make timely informed decisions.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

  • Significant business travel may be expected
  • Significant time spent seated working on computer
  • Office environment will be normal place of work

Preferred location: UK; Tamworth/Birmingham area. Other Construction Adhesive sites may also be considered: Belgium; Willebroek or France; Surbourg
