Our client is a £70m turnover international business going through an exciting period of growth and they are now looking to recruit a Management / Financial Accountant to join the team. This is a hybrid role working 1 day from home and 4 days in the office and our client needs the start date to be the end of September at the latest.This is a highly varied role where you will be responsible for the preparation and completion of monthly management accounts, statutory accounts and monthly MI and analysis prepared by the finance team. You will ensure timely reporting deadlines are met and actively look for more efficient and effective ways of working, standardising reporting and improving internal controls.Responsibilities- Production of monthly management accounts & related MI- P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, Cost Reports,DLA, commentary including preparation of journals, working papers and final reports
  • Supervise accuracy of postings from other accounting team members
  • Provide meaningful analysis & business metrics to provide insight into business performance and support decision making. Prepare actual vs budget variance report
  • Recommend & implement improvements to financial processes
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Prepare Intercompany Reconciliation and Settlement
  • Post Transfer Pricing adjustments in alignment with group policy
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors to complete audits & tax computations
  • Ensuring the business meets its statutory deadlines
  • Complete VAT & USA GST returns, support overseas accountants with information required
  • As the company culture promotes helping others, ad hoc tasks may be assigned to the job holder that are not listed above
  • The job holder is expected to understand and work according to the requirements of the Techbuyer Quality Management System
    • Required Skills Or Training- Qualified accountant with prior experience of multi-national organisation
  • Commercial acumen to apply finance information to business contexts
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Demonstrable team management and development skills
  • Can maintain control of budgets and costs below the line
  • Experience in cash-flow forecasting/reporting
