Management Accountant

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis to join our team in Wellingborough.

You’ll focus and support our open-book, multi-temperature contract with compiling the management accounts for our customer and look at analysis where possible to make our sites more efficient. You’ll work as a part of the finance department ensuring that the team continues to grow to meet the requirements of our dynamic contract.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of £36,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• 
  Leading and driving accuracy of all weekly and monthly reporting
• Supporting the Finance Manager with the weekly flash report including assisting in the production of all budgeting and forecasting requirements
• Continuously reviewing and improving all processes to meet operational and financial needs
• Developing business relationships with our customer – both operationally and within the finance function

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• 
  Ideally, you’ll have started your accountancy qualifications and you’ll be part-qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• You’ll have solid experience in weekly accounting with the ability to work under pressure
• Be confident and able to communicate at all levels including having the ability to challenge stakeholders
