Management Accountant – Nottingham – £25-30k plus study support

A cracking job for someone with experience in property finance. I know, a little niche, but, given property finance can be a little different they are ideally wanting someone who works for a company in the property sector given the additional knowledge being useful.

It could suit someone wanting a new challenge as a Management Accountant, or it could suit someone operating at a more junior level wanting to stay up. It could be a sidewards step from your current role, or, it could be that 80% of your current role is clerical finance and you get 15-20% of the more management reporting experience. This role would let you flip that the other way to 80% management accounting, 20% clerical finance.

Study support can be provided for the right person. Office wise, they are based just outside Nottingham but with great transport links for anyone on public transport. It will be office based 5 days per week, the rest of the team enjoy doing this (4 people) so they want someone else doing the same. On those days where the boiler breaks, car issues etc though of course you can work from home.

The Role:

· Management of financial transactions for property projects

· Preparation of cash flow statements for colleagues inside and outside of finance

· Analysis of performance vs budget looking at job costings

· Financial performance analysis and investigation into results

· Support with year-end audit processes

· Month end management accounts production with support from the Head of Finance.

· Ad-hoc project accounting and cover for the clerical finance team

Requirements:

· Experience working within a finance function in a property business. Happy to train on some of the areas above if you haven’t covered them.
