CMA Recruitment Group is currently working exclusively with a well-established business based in Blandford, Dorset, who has a requirement to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis within this newly created position. Paying up to £34,000 plus an excellent range of benefits.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the smooth running of this finance function, whilst overseeing two transactional accountants.

This is an exciting time to join a growing business and be a part of a highly successful international Group.

What will the role involve?

  • Assist with monthly management accounts preparation, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting exercises;
  • Prepare VAT returns and EC sales;
  • Some elements of day to day transactional accounting where required;
  • Completion of other ad hoc accounting tasks where necessary.

Suitable Candidate:

  • An AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualification is beneficial although not essential;
  • Confident with year-end and audit preparations;
  • Some previous management reporting experience is required to be considered for this position.
