Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely management reports, including financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful commentary on financial performance to senior management.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial control processes and procedures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Conduct regular cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Assist with financial audits and liaise with external auditors.

  • Stay updated with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.

  • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis roles.

  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial software applications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Familiarity with the investment industry and financial markets would be a plus.
