This is a temporary to permanent Management Accountant role based in Hounslow.

Client Details

This temporary to permanent Management Accountant role based in Hounslow is working for a growing, fast paced business who have experience a lot of change in the Finance team.

Description

This temporary to permanent Management Accountant role will involve the following responsibilities:

  • Completion of monthly management packs for 3 entities with 12 individual P&L’s consolidated and including variance analysis.
  • Processing of monthly journals, accruals and prepayments.
  • Balancing of Intercompany accounts with transactional teams, other management accounts and group entities.
  • Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Management of audit process, developing relationships with external auditors.
  • Adhering to and developing internal financial controls, improving processes where necessary.
  • Working closely with individual P&L owners to ensure accurate monthly reporting and in line with budget.
  • Working closely with the transactional accounting team.
  • Working closely with the Finance Controller on annual budget and reforecasting quarterly.
  • Completion of VAT returns for each entity.
  • Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company.
  • Understanding and adhering to financial regulations and legislation.
  • Working closely with the Finance Director and Financial Controller on adhoc projects

Profile

The successful candidate for this temporary Management Accountant position will need to have the following skills:

  • Will manage one business account
  • Will need experience in managing multiple P&L’s
  • Will need experience in, or ability to transition to, a multisite business
  • Will need experience, or ability to transition to, a high transactional value business
  • Will work a lot with accruals and prepayments
