Duties

Reporting to the Financial Director you will be responsible for the following duties

Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group are pleased to be handling the recruitment of a ’Hands On’ Management Accountant for a 12 to 14 month fixed term contract working for a growing independent business based on the Wirral. The successfully individual will be available to start end of August / beginning of September.
  • Preparing the monthly management accounts including variance analysis, accruals and prepayments for review by the Financial Director
  • Supporting the Financial Director on preparing the budgets and forecasts
  • Identifying and highlighting efficiencies around systems and process improvements
  • Support the Financial Director with regards to a variety of Excel & financial reports, analysing data and producing more efficient management information for the business
  • Production of weekly sales reports and analysis
  • Responsible for the input and creation of various payments ensuring the reconciliation of banking entries
  • Adhering to the relevant Governing bodies Experience/Skills
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT part or fully qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Previous exepreince having worked in a management accounting role
  • Being a team player is key as this is working within a small finance team
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail - essential Salary / Benefits
  • Available to start end of August 2022, and commit to a 12 to 14 month fixed term contract
  • £28,000 to £38,000 pro rata (12-14 months) possibly up to £40k dependent of experience
