Electrical Technician

Up to £35,000

Warminster, Wiltshire

MC Technical Recruitment are partnered with a provider of Anaerobic Digestion Power Plants for the recruitment of an Electrical bias Plant Maintenance Engineer at their site in Warminster in rural Wiltshire, commutable from Salisbury.

We are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Plant Maintenance Engineer / Electrical bias Technician, to carry out maintenance duties across the plant to ensure safe & efficient operation of the plant. As part of the small maintenance operations team, you will work a days based role working a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday.

As the Electrical & Controls Technician, you will be responsible for:

Ensure planned & preventative maintenance activities are carried out on a safe manner in line with company Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Working on 3 phase power supplies, with occasional weekend work & 1 in 3 on call rota.
Remote monitoring of the AD process
Effectively react to planned & unplanned repairs & maintenance (EC&I / Mechanical)

Other Duties As Required

To be considered for this position, you should have:

Demonstrable Maintenance experience in the power, process or manufacturing sectors such as energy from waste, CCGT, Coal, Oil, Biomass etc
Engineering / technical qualification in electronics or electrical engineering
Process controls / PLC experience
Be a motived team player with the flexibility to work on a variety of plant & electrical installations
Knowledge of & commitment to relevant health & safety regulation, safe working environments & Safety rules
This is a permanent position based in the Warminster area of Wiltshire; due to the location of the plant you will need a full UK driving licence to access the site.

The Package On Offer For This Position Includes

Basic salary up to £42,000, depending on experience
37.5 hour week
Monday to Friday, days
