As a Repairs Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of routine building, maintenance and repair jobs, with minimum disruption to staff and residents in line with service policy and procedures.

The successful candidate for this role will:

  • Carry out a wide variety of general repairs and maintenance works to residential property and office property owned by the organisation to a high standard.
  • Proactively liaise with staff, contractors , agencies and relevant stakeholders to support the effective and efficient delivery of repairs and maintenance services
  • Carry out site inspections to diagnose repairing needs and produce work schedules and specifications to advise managers of scope of works and costs as appropriate
  • Be willing to learn relevant skills and attend appropriate training and take an active role in own personal development
