We are looking for caring individuals to join our amazing team within Day Services here in Chorley (no sleeps or waking nights).

Drivers Required for the position with access to a car

£10.00 per hour with many additional employment benefits offered. No experience necessary as full training is provided. Join and start your fully funded NVQ within Health & Social Care!

Job Summary (Description of main purpose of job)

The aim of this role is to provide support within a team working onsite and in the community, giving a consistent, safe and appropriate level of care to people with autism, communication and learning difficulties, high levels of anxiety, sensory processing issues and those who may need positive behaviour support.

Our ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A positive attitude to people with a disability
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to listen sensitively to others
  • The ability to support people to make informed choices about their daily lives
  • Good reading and writing skills, with an ability to keep accurate and detailed records
  • Willingness to support service users both physically and mentally
