Job ProfileMaintenance Manager required. My Client is a leading Resin and Polymers manufacturer based in Wigan that supply products to a range of industries globally. They are looking to employ an experienced Maintenance Manager to bolster their established Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering, will have COMAH site experience, will be familiar with managing a successful service / maintenance team and will be based within a commutable distance of Wigan.Maintenance Manager Position Overview
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the maintenance department
  • Supporting the effective running of production
  • Ensure the maintenance work request system is managed effectively
  • Maintain the Engineering risk assessments
  • Overseeing the established maintenance team
  • Keeping the Piranha system up to date
Maintenance Manager Position Requirements
  • Qualified in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working on both ATEX and COMAH sites
  • Chemical industry experience with an understanding of Phenol / Xylene and Butanol
  • IOSH qualified
  • Able to complete root cause analysis
  • Familiar with a busy lab environment
  • Based within a commutable distance to Wigan
  • Full Driving licence
Maintenance Manager Position Remuneration
  • Salary £45,000 - £50,000 DOE
  • Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • BUPA healthcare after probation
  • Pension
