The successful Maintenance Engineer will report into the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for all machine maintenance on site.
Working Hours
Monday-Friday – 8:00am-4:30pm
Salary: £34,000-£36,000 (depending on experience)
Maintenance Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- To carry out preventative maintenance on equipment as part of the PPM scheme
- To maintain the factory facilities - power distribution, lighting, compressors, steam raising boilers
- To produce a daily report of work done, spares used, follow up as required
- Provide support to other disciplines where required
- React quickly to breakdowns and prioritise workload
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Level 3 or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Experience doing both preventative and reactive maintenance
- Previously worked in a manufacturing environment
- Fully conversant with 3 phase equipment, star-delta starters, inverter drives, PLC control
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
