  • How to operate multi-spindle lathes
  • How to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Quality inspection processes and procedures, including the use of measuring equipment
  • How to carry out adjustments to machinery to maintain quality of components
Skills & Experience
  • A proven track record in a machining environment
  • A good team player with the ability to work accurately and efficiently using their own initiative taking resourceful action during periods of considerable pressure
  • Inter-personal skills to obtain the required levels of inter-action between production areas
  • Numerate, methodical, and motivated. Willingness and capability to learn develop and adapt
  • This can be a physically demanding role, so candidates must be physically fit.
