Newton Colmore Consulting are working with a renowned inventor of medical technologies in Cambridge who are looking for a senior Machine Learning Engineer.

This is an exciting and newly created role that will allow you to work on ground-breaking technologies within the medical devices and healthcare sectors. This could range from patient monitoring systems through to diagnosis tools at the edge.

You will be a senior member of the team and will be charged with the technical delivery of a broad variety of machine learning work. This will include working on brand new innovations and inventions from scratch through to deployment. You’ll be researching into new areas and will be in charge of running feasibility studies, as well as encourage to publish papers and attend AI conferences.

Coupled with the delivery of complex product development you will also need to manage stakeholders so this role would be perfect for an experienced engineer who is looking to enhance their commercial experience and capabilities.

Within this role you will be trusted to deliver your work with autonomy and the company have done all they can to remove hierarchy and other influences that can stifle good ideas.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have experience of developing machine learning solutions coupled with strong engineering fundamentals and excellent pen-and-paper mathematical skills. We are open to considering candidates from other sectors too if there is strong academics and a record of delivering on complex solutions/products.
