We are looking to recruit Logistics warehouse operatives to join our new National Distribution Centre based

in the West Midlands (WS2 8DQ).

The Role

Reporting to the NDC Manager your role will be to ensure the effective and efficient transition of picking and

packing products from Sales orders. For dispatch to UK domestic customers and International Export

customers.

Duties include:

• Receiving sales orders from sales. Then picking the correct stock items through our D365 WMS handheld

scanners.

• Packing shipments for dispatch ranging from loose cartons to multiple pallets. You will need to be

physically fit to deal with a fast-paced domestic and international dispatch environment.

• Prepare documentation required IE: packing list, invoices, certificates of origin and any other required

paperwork.

• Booking consignments on Freight forwarders, couriers, and pallet carrier’s portals. Or via email or

telephone

• An understanding of exports, courier services portals, pallet carriers and freight forwarders is

advantageous.

• Fork truck licence required to load daily dispatches. Training can be provided.

• A good understanding of Microsoft D365 dynamics WMS and operating system. Plus, Microsoft Word,

Excel, and Outlook. Will be a great asset to any candidate. Who enjoys working in a fast-paced, busy

environment.

• The role will include for the right candidate’s salary increases, gear to successfully complete training

modules and demonstrating the daily compliance level required for these roles.

The Candidate

Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment is essential, fastener knowledge and logistics

experience are an advantage. You will be self-motivated, and physically fit. Have an aptitude for daily routines

and processes which will help you succeed.

Practical people, team players, and candidates filled with common sense make the perfect logistics warehouse

operatives. The ability to work both safely and quickly, while still paying attention to detail and accuracy.

Training will be provided to help the successful candidates, improve their IT skills, freight, and logistics

knowledge. Succession planning. To help them to progress to higher levels within TRF UK.
