Overall Purpose of the Job
As we continue to expand our online presence, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Specialist to join our Stock Processing are within Logistics
Working within our hub in Widnes, you will primarily be responsible for making sure that customers are provided with the fast and professional service they expect from our Logistics operation.
Main tasks of the job
Reporting to the Stock Processing Manager you will be involved with:
- Receiving collections of second-hand collections into our system
- Testing and checking model railway, diecast and plastic kit items to make sure that any faults found are accurately noted
- Photographing stock items to the highest of standards, ready for sale on the website the following day
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the organisation and the overall business objectives
Previous Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
The right attitude is more important than previous experience for this role. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who tends to focus on quality, working efficiently and providing a good service. Knowledge of model railways, diecast items or plastic kits is not required but would be beneficial
Salary and Working Hours
The hours for this role are from Monday-Friday, with weekend work being a possibility if required.
The standard working pattern is:
Monday: 09:30-18:30
Tuesday: 10:30-18:30
Wednesday: 10:30-18:30
Thursday: 10:30-18:30
Friday: 09:30-16:30
Pay for this role is hourly, starting at £9.80, with performance-related pay allowing this to increase to £12.00+ for people who exceed our highest expectations.
