Logistics Operative Band 2

Vacancies have arisen within the Logistics department for Logistics Operatives to work across various sites, primarily you will work from the Tickhill Road Site, however there will be requirement to work across other trust sites within Rotherham, Doncaster and Scunthorpe

Band 2 – Logistics Operative

1 x Post 37.5hrs per week

Monday – Friday (occasional Bank Holiday and weekends)

Between the hours of 7.30am – 4.00pm

1 X Post ‘As and When’ (Zero Hours) Logistics Operative

Monday – Friday (occasional Bank Holiday and weekends)

Between the hours of 7.30am – 4.00pm

Applicants will work as part of the Estates and Facilities Service, within the Logistics Department, to provide an efficient, courteous and professional service to patients, all Trust Departments and external customers.

The role will involve a wide range of duties including driving: collection and delivery of stores, post, laundry, medical records and specimens, waste and recycling collection and disposal, basic estates tasks, site tidiness and security, grounds work, including snow and ice clearance and parking patrols.

There will be a need to undertake duties across multiple sites within the locality, undertaking tasks on an unsupervised basis, utilising hand held technology as required.

As part of the interview there will be a driving assessment and a Highway Code test.
