What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties Will Include

Full accountability for the loading and unloading of European and UK vehicles

Check measure consignments

Accurate recording of information and barcode scanning

Direct responsibility for ensuring that space allocation for each vehicle is maximised to its fullest potential (Load Yields)

To be proactive when dealing with all damages, i.e. documenting the issue and communicating with line management

Take photographs of damaged and surplus goods

General housekeeping of the TT warehouse

Use of computer to check information

Ensuring all consignments are place in the correct postcode lane

Scanning products onto the system from each consignment

Any Other Tasks As Required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Training to be provided

Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative provided by SR Apprenticeships.

Annual wage

£16,500

Working week

Monday - Friday (A rotating shift with earlies and lates - TBC)

Total hours per week: 40 hours a week
