Logistics & Operations Support

Goodfish has an exciting NEW opportunity for someone to support both our logistics area and our operations/shop floor. The person we are looking for will be a logistics professional with demonstrable experience of working in a well organised, efficient and safe warehouse facility. This is a hands on role where you will quickly become a key part of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate / check delivery notes from MRP systems
• Support with stock takes
• Condense / manage material flow
• Improve flow of inbound renewable packaging and outbound finished goods
• Support with WIP storage of sub-assembly components
• Interpreting Intouch in order to support with logistical planning
• Weekly 5S exercises in Warehouse / stores
• Manage flow of recycling products (scrap, regrind and bailing)
• Injection mould machine operating (extra support only)
• Support with deliveries on 7.5T truck (licence required)
• Forklift support (licence preferred)

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced logistics professional with the following:

• Full clean driving licence required ( minimum Class 2 licence)
• Driver CPC
• Computer literate and experienced with use of MRP systems
• FLT Licence: Counter Balance is essential, REACH would be an advantage
• Experienced at carrying out stock counts/stock control
• Good organisational and housekeeping skills, ideally with experience of working in a 5S environment
• Health, safety & environmental awareness
• Attention to detail and commitment to great customer service
• Effective communication skills

Hours

This is a day role where you will work 40 hours per week Mon - Fri (Timings to be agreed). A flexible approach to working additional hours is required.
