Salary - £21,000
Working Hours – Monday to Friday – 09:00 – 17:30

Alfred Recruitment is currently looking for an organized and dedicated Post room Assistant to join a growing furniture care business. As a Post room Assistant, you will be responsible for handling and organizing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and accurately, keeping customers at the heart of everything you do.

Responsibilities

· Ensure all internal post is collected and delivered accurately within the agreed time limits.

· Ensure all external post is collected and suitably prepared for the appropriate carrier.

· Assist with the ordering, dispatch, and stock control of all stationary.

· Use the telephone including placing/checking orders and taking messages accurately.

· Assist other departments, when necessary, with the movement of stock, furniture etc

· Operate envelope inserting and franking machine.

· Drive company vehicles as and when required.

· Checking of all parts received to ensure they are correct and undamaged.

· Tracking missing parts for the Claims/Solutions departments

· Organising scheduled pickups of parts

· Day to day lifting and managing of parts.

· Speaking to and using couriers to send and receive all parts.

About You

· Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships.

· Able to use Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

· Relevant work experience is preferable for this position.
