Logistics & Customer Account Coordinator

£26,000 to £30,000pa d.o.e + Bonus, NN17 1QE, 29 days holiday, 8am till 5pm Monday to Friday, Pension, Training, Free Parking, Permanent, Immediate Start

Due to continued success, our Corby depot of our midlands based family run company has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics & Customer Account Coordinator to join them. You will provide customer account support to an array of local based clients, and daily route planning of both internal and sub-contractors daily deliveries:

Processing incoming customer orders via telephone and email, majority of orders are next day delivery, managing customers expectations when this isn’t possible.
Processing payment for cash sales, opening despatch orders for invoices on credit accounts.
Issuing quotations for small to medium orders, fact finding and escalating information to company Sales Manager for larger orders.
Providing outstanding customer service to clients mainly from the construction industry.
Daily planning of fleet and sub contractors multiple drop delivery routes, at customer locations a 50 mile radius of Corby, Northamptonshire.
Communicating and confirming routes with drivers, assisting drivers with any queries or questions they may have, updating customers of ETA if required.
All administration duties related to the role.
Working as a part of a small operational team, and providing coverage for Office Manager in their absence.
We would expect the successful Logistics & Customer Account Coordinator to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of databases, be an excellent communicator, enjoy working to tight time deadlines, and have a friendly confident manner, with the ability to build relationships with customers and drivers. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role if you have worked within a Transport Coordinator, Customer Account Coordinator or Customer Service Administrator position.
