We are currently looking for aLogistics Administrator to join our fantastic team at Buxton.

Role Responsibility

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Logistics Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that customer orders are captured and entered into the SAP ERP system correctly and promptly in order to ensure the correct level of customer service is maintained.
  • Customer contact with late load monitoring.
  • Ensuring hauliers are paid correctly including additional payments logged on system where appropriate. FP monitoring for cement rail customers.
  • Goods receipting and freight payable.
  • To work as a team, ensuring bulk loads are despatched OTIF.
  • The role also requires cross functional working relationships and other administrative duties to ensure all aspects of the customer experience are optimised.

The Ideal Candidate

For the role of Logistics Administrator, the ideal candidate will have experience of:

  • Knowledge of road and rail haulage operations
  • Previous experience in customer accounts/service environments
  • IT Literate, experience with systems SAP, TFP, VAS Genesys would be desirable
  • Effective communicator
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
