Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join our client based in Bolton.

This is an office based role and you will report directly to the Logistics Manager.

Duties:

  • Booking outbound deliveries for Customers (both UK and international)

  • Ensuring all required documentation and labels are given to the warehouse

  • Amend consignment details when required

  • Collate prices for deliveries outside the UK

  • Identify transport cost savings on shipments includes the forecast list of shipments

  • Arrange dedicated deliveries and timed delivery requests

  • Assign trucks to outbound consignments and check all trucks have been dispatched

  • Complete and update delivery pricing log

  • Reporting on various consignments and shipments etc.

  • Input customs entries on the portal and complete declarations

  • Check invoices from transport suppliers, input weigh bill entries and other pricing required

  • Ensure delivery comments from customers is recorded and passed on as required

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

  • Be able to prioritise your workload

- Computer and IT literate - will be dealing with a lot of emails

Hours and Pay:

- Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (37.50 hours paid per week)

  • Temp to Perm position after a successful 12 weeks

  • £10.25 per hour (possible increase when permanent)
