Summary

We are looking for a Logistics Co-ordinator to join one of our clients based in the BL7 area of Bolton.

Our client supply materials to commercial, public and private developments worldwide and as part of their continuing expansion they are looking for a new Logistics Co-ordinator to join the existing Logistics team.

The role is a full-time position and will involve all aspects of project management from a logistical perspective. You will manage and control all the information and logistics movements from the first stage of an initial enquiry right through to the dispatch of products to site.



Your role will include:
  • Dealing with initial customer enquiries
  • Essential contract with customers to ensure they receive excellent customer service
  • Liaising with supplies and external transport provides to ensure materials are available and delivered correctly
  • Managing the end to end process from initial contact and order up to delivery

Skills required:
  • The ability to make things happen and enable a customer’s instructions to be converted to reality
  • Desire to exceed your customers expectations
  • Good IT skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Dynamic with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Organised with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Previous experience in a logistics position would be advantageous

Salary, benefits and hours of work:
  • Monday – Thursday 8.30a.m. – 5.30p.m. Early finish on a Friday, 8.30a.m. – 4.00p.m.
  • £18,500 - £22,000 dependent on experience
