DeMontfort Fine Art Ltd is the UK’s leading publisher and retailer of Original paintings and collectable limited edition prints. We have a network of Galleries under the brands of Whitewall Galleries and Clarendon Fine Art, and at present have 60 locations across the UK and are still growing!

We are seeking a Despatch Clerk to work in our busy Logistics department. The hours of work will initially be Monday - Friday 12:30 - 18:00 however the hours may increase to suit the needs of the business.

The Role

  • Coordinate all items for loading into delivery vans for the following day
  • Ensure all items are suitably packed for safe transportation
  • Highlight any items unsuitably packed and action accordingly
  • Systemically scanning items from next day delivery
  • Produce delivery manifest
  • Collate all drivers paperwork into relevant order
  • Work safely at all times being observant of product security

Requirements

  • Excellent IT skills
  • Effective communicator
  • Previous experience in Logistics or Despatch role
  • Ability to work using own initiative as well as being a real team player
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Happy to work in a warehouse environment, with regular manual handling and loading of vans
  • Flexible to work the required hours in addition to overtime when needed
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Desire to progress
