Job Description

We are looking for a Local Immigration Expert to join Airbus. The role can be based in either Filton or Broughton.

We are an Airbus community of HR colleagues, passionate about international mobility.

You will join the Compliance team to accompany the business and the employees on their legal obligations with the initial focus being on Business Travelers and Short Term assignments.

Tasks & Accountabilities

Working with External Immigration Consultants currently in charge of the immigration administration to ensure Airbus compliance with EU and national laws.

Collect & provide all the necessary data needed by provider to make an assessment, administer visa request & posted worker notification if any according to country combination and activity performed

Ensure a global tracking of employees concerned by such process, date of VISA, posted workers notification expiry date and so forth.

Provide a One Stop Shop For Airbus Internal Purposes

  • Provide advice, guidance, support to applications, and coordination
  • Consolidation of knowledge with transnational HR
  • create collaborative network with other Immigration local Coordinator
  • monitoring of legislation updates
  • make recommendation to the business / liaise with immigration providers to seek for possible solutions to ensure continuity of right to work.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Skills & Experience

  • Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in Law or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of immigration and posted workers directive mandatory
