LNP Lead Scientist – Redcar – Permanent – Onsite

SRG are very excited to be supporting a business in the North East with finding their LNP (Liquid Nanoparticle) Lead Scientist/ Expert to join their lab team and oversee the development of their chemical technology portfolio and customer needs/trials in an effective and safe manner

You will support other scientists in the lab with all things relating to LNPs and be responsible for:

  • Completing experiments, recording of data/information and analysis of data
  • Filing for IP and patent applications
  • Supervise or direct management of other lab team and scientists
  • Identify areas of development and new technical ideas related to LNPs
  • Support the sales team through provision of data and liaising with customers for technical information
  • Train others in relevant techniques and ensure lab staff acting in a safe and HSE compliant manner
  • Remain up to date with the latest developments in the relevant fields via conferences, networking and latest publications

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • A higher degree in relevant field (Chemistry etc)
  • Experience with Liquid Nanoparticles in a laboratory role is essential
  • Experience with other encapsulation techniques also desirable
  • Team building and motivational skills
  • Highly detail orientated and good with detailed analysis of data
  • Experience leading or supervising others is highly dersiable
  • Ability to think independently and make suggestions to improve

This is a lab based position so requires full time working on site, flexibility with start and finish times are available.
