I am looking for an eager and hands-on Bioinformatician who can work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, start-up environment. The role will be the first Bioinformatician in this company who will look to lead and build the future team as they grow. This is to work with genomic data for personalised medicine.

Requirements;

A PhD in Bioinformatics, statistical genetics or related field.

Experience of analysing next-generation sequencing data.

High throughput sequencing analysis.

Experience in scientific programming, in python and/or R.

High throughput sequencing analysis.

Experience working with large datasets.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and information to peers.

Demonstrable high levels of self-motivation and ambition.

Potential to develop and lead a team
