Leicestershire Security Officer - Licenced Role

Security Officer covering Leicestershire areas, up to 35 miles.

Guaranteed 12 - 48 hours contracts per week with the availability for overtime.

Pay rate: £10.00 per hour

In this role, you will protect the customer’s employees, property and other assets

Deliver the highest levels of customer service which promotes Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

This role will cover a shift pattern of days, nights and weekends varying from 8 to 12 hours each shift,

Various contracts available from 12 - 48 hours per week, with the availability for overtime.

How you will make an impact as a Securitas Security Officer:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site.
• Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV.
• Patrolling.
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Display an outstanding level of customer service.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by Management.

Required Skills

What you will bring to be a Relief Security Officer:

• A valid SIA Licence
• Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment
• A full UK driving licence and own transport due to location of client’s sites.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Must be able to work shifts covering days, nights and week-ends
