The Team & Role


The CasePlanner Support Team will act as a key member of the practice group legal project management (LPM) team supporting the delivery of the practice group LPM strategy by providing support to the wider team and helping co-ordinate LPM activities with a particular focus on CasePlanner, our new project management and budgeting platform.


Key Responsibilities


  • Reporting to the Legal Project Manager they will support the delivery of the practice group LPM strategy in line with the firm-wide strategy
  • Support the practice group LPM team with the initial onboarding of CasePlanner matters on the platform. This involves:
    • building out a matter budget on CasePlanner as per the fee estimate
    • creating a ‘Time Recording’ key to help guide legal teams
    • obtaining client consent via the legal team to further explore the other features of the platform
    • allocating time incurred on the matter to the correct Intapp codes and having it amended on Elite
  • Undertake bi-weekly financial sense checks of the data with a team member of the legal team to ensure the time recording protocol is kept in check
  • Liaise with the matter billing coordinator to help streamline the billing and reporting process
  • Supporting legal teams with ad hoc CasePlanner questions
  • Supporting legal teams to self-service on the platform and producing reports
  • Build excellent relationships within the practice group, working collaboratively with lawyers to help assist and support with the delivery of LPM solutions that are fit for purpose
  • Supports with the upskilling of fee earners on CasePlanner through the co-ordination of training, ensuring that they have the skills to self-serve on the platform. To achieve this the CasePlanner Support Team will be required to work collaboratively with various stakeholders within the practice group and international operations teams
  • Manages a busy workload day to day with the ability to prioritise work and achieve time sensitive deadlines
  • Gathers feedback on user experience of CasePlanner
  • Be a point of contact for CasePlanner for the Product Group.

Experience Required


  • Genuine interest in the use of technology, budgeting, billing and reporting
  • Experience in legal or professional services, liaising with various different stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting projects, particularly in relation to budgeting and reporting.
