Lecturer in Bricklaying

£21,298 - £37,387 per annum, plus £610 Crawley Weighting

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are seeking to recruit an inspirational Lecturer to come and join our outstanding teaching team. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of teaching/learning bricklaying and multi-trades programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for the quality of your own teaching and related curriculum development.

Developing learning resources/materials to meet individual learner needs, you must assess student progress in College or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.

You will have a genuine desire to improve the life chances of our learners.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated individual with literacy and numeracy to at least Level 2 and relevant Level 3 (or equivalent) trade qualifications. Training can be given to the successful candidate although teaching experience using a range of teaching and learning methods is desired, as is a teaching qualification.

You will be experienced and be a strong team player with proven communication skills.

The working pattern for this role will be discussed at interview.
