Are you an experienced 2D animator, looking for the next step in your career?

We are looking for an experienced artist with a professional level of knowledge and creativity in animation and design in the context of contemporary 2D animation production. We want someone with a deep understanding of character animation, with expertise in 2D animation techniques and a proven track record in producing character animation for film, TV or games.

You will need to have experience in using industry-standard software, animation tools, and techniques, and be able to teach 2D character animation, character design, background and layout, and storyboarding and visual development.

Animation at the University of Lincoln is part of a newly established School of Film, Media and Journalism, which offers considerable scope for cross disciplinary collaboration with researchers and practitioners who are coming together to pursue our strategic priorities, in areas such as sustainability, health and wellbeing, and internationalisation. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with ambitious academics and industry practitioners to deliver high-quality teaching, scholarship, and enterprise activities.

We challenge students significantly to expand their horizons of hope and expectation and thus the story of who they are and can be. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, please contact Sultan Efe, Senior Lecturer / Programme Leader, at sefe@lincoln.ac.uk for an informal discussion about the role.
