Post Ref: 6487 22.2 hours per week, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover). £16,487.20 to £21,498.62 per annum, depending on relevant teaching qualifications.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about English, to work within the Humanities and Social Science curriculum area at Hartlepool Sixth Form teaching both A Level English Language and GCSE English. English Language is a popular and well-resourced subject within the sixth form. A Level students currently follow the OCR specification and at GCSE students follow the AQA (8700) specification.

This post offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a highly successful subject area at our Hartlepool campus and be a part of a supportive team, providing outstanding achievement across the provision.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner, with relevant experience. They will be able to ensure quality, have high expectations, enthuse and inspire students to achieve the best possible outcomes and prepare students for their next steps.

Applicants will have a Degree in English or a related course. Applicants must have relevant experience and have a proven track record in education.
