Role Overview

To support the Lead L&D Business Partner with the design, development and execution of leadership and behavioural development programmes across Retail, Distribution Centres and Head Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Lead L&D Business Partner on a range of leadership and behavioural development programmes across the group.
  • Work with the group talent team to design and deliver bespoke development activity for the identified high potential/performance individuals through appropriate leadership, coaching and mentoring interventions.
  • Provide 1:1 and team coaching support across the group.
  • Deliver train the trainer on content created to the field delivery team globally to ensure consistency of the group leadership development approach.
  • Question and update current L&D practice in leadership and behavioural development to be at the forefront of current and emerging trends that enhance performance.
  • Deliver a dashboard of relevant metrics to map ROI, programme evaluation and learner adoption.
  • Work in collaboration with the wider people team to deliver the group people strategy.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the group.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:
  • Proven experience of L&D gained within a similar sector; retail, digital or FMCG
  • Passionate about delivering learning experiences that have positive impact on performance both of the individual and the business.
  • Proven track record of delivering leadership and behavioural development activity, which is digital first and focused on performance development, aligned to business objectives.
  • Experience of coaching gained either through coaching hours or accredited training (ideally both)
  • Experience in using psychometrics for people development; either as a practitioner or through engaging with suppliers.
  • CIPD Level 5 (L&D Pathway) is advantageous
  • Strong project management skills including planning work and managing multiple tasks / projects to deliver consistent results.
  • Ambitious to learn with an enthusiastic approach, curiosity and appetite for development.
  • Up to date knowledge of emerging trends and best practices of companies in our sector
  • Ability to adapt to a multi-generational workforce
  • Ability to present and facilitate at a range of levels within the business
